UX/UI design & prototypes

Service · 01

UX/UI design you can tap before it's built.

Screens you can click through on your phone before a line of code is written, so the big decisions get made while they're cheap to change.

Changing a design costs an afternoon. Changing an app costs a month. Decide early.

What you get

From a rough idea to screens your developers can build.

  • User flows

Every path someone takes, mapped out, so nothing important is a dead end.

  • Wireframes

The layout of every screen in plain grey boxes, quick to change while we argue about what goes where.

  • Full designs in Figma

Every screen in your brand, at phone and desktop sizes, with the states people forget: empty, loading, error.

  • Clickable prototypes

Tap through it on your own phone, show it to customers, and find the problems before anyone codes them.

  • Design systems

Colours, type and components set up once, so every new screen matches and builds faster.

  • A clean hand-off

Specs your developers can work from, or I build it myself. Either way, nothing gets lost.

How a design project runs

Ideas in, screens out.

  1. Understand

Who uses it, what they're trying to do, and where today's version gets in their way.

  2. Sketch

Flows and wireframes, fast and rough, so we agree on the shape before the detail.

  3. Design

Full screens in your brand, built from a small set of parts so they stay consistent.

  4. Prototype

Linked up and clickable, ready to test with real people and hand to your developers.

Things people ask before we start

What's the difference between UX and UI?

UX is how it works: what's on each screen, in what order, and why. UI is how it looks and feels. I do both, because one without the other doesn't hold up.

We already have developers. Can you just design?

Yes. You get Figma files, a clickable prototype and specs your team can build from, and I stay on hand for their questions.

Can you redesign an app we already have?

Yes. I start with what's there, find where people get stuck, and fix those first, so you see improvements without starting from scratch.

How much does it cost?

After a free call you get one fixed price in writing for the screens we agree on.
